The Terrazas de los Andes winemaking team is composed of a seasoned cadre of both oenologists and vineyard managers with a combined 100+ years of experience in Mendoza and European winemaking.  This core team has been in place since the founding of Terrazas de los Andes in 1999, and responsible for the quality, style and evolution of all Terrazas de los Andes vineyard properties and wines. The team has also directed and guided the evolution of Cheval des Andes, the Terrazas de los Andes joint venture with Cheval Blanc. This pioneering partnership continues as a collaboration between the Cheval Blanc and Terrazas de los Andes teams with the objective of combining Bordeaux winemaking expertise with Mendoza´s ideal elevation terroir to produce an iconic assemblage that leads country origin from Argentina.

The winemaking philosophy of Terrazas de los Andes is based on cross-fertilization and integration of vineyard management and winemaking teams. This multidisciplinary approach takes form through the Terrazas de los Andes Technical Committee, which guides all primary quality, production and style decisions.  With the vision of becoming the #1 value exporter from Argentina, Terrazas de los Andes has generated a track record of unquestionable product quality, and has pioneered winemaking at the ideal elevation based on 45 years of Bodegas Chandon experience in Mendoza.
