Terrazas de los Andes was created with the aim of producing top quality wines and outstanding varietal types, with the potential to become global icons of Argentine wines. After several years of research, and growing grapes coming from the best areas in Mendoza, we identified which varieties were best suited for each of the areas, and we were able to identify the ideal altitude for each varietal. Altitude plays a key role since it controls day and night temperatures and favors the accumulation of certain aromatic and flavor components, particularly polyphenols which add color, body and structure to the wine.
